GA Tech [GT]2 Symposium Thursday
Prepping for the symposium Thursday. Apparently, we got slotted into the Technology for Life and Living category. We are going to play the 10 min video, then Catherine is going to do a speed 2.5 minute ppt presentation (speed presenting is one of her many specialties). Hopefully we win and get our first taste of funding, which will help us further this educational documentary about diabetes and obesity.
Film Festival Premiere
INDIAbetes just premiered at the WFITA festival (http://www.wifta.org/)! Thanks to all the other filmmakers who spent so much time producing such wonderful films. Overall, we got a tremendous response from the audiance and other filmmakers. We gave out two DVD’s and plenty of business cards with the website. Thanks again for everyone who came out. The show was sold out and there was a crowd waiting outside the theatre wanting to get in to watch the screening.
INDIAbetes looked great on the big screen too. If all goes as planned, we’ll have an even better looking, HD, full length version.
